About Us

Woodend Community Church is part of a group of churches that make up Rangiora Baptist Church.

Our Church in Woodend serves Ravenswood / Woodend / Pegasus in North Canterbury and is open to all people of all ages and backgrounds. We lead our congregation in worship, deepening the connection to God, understanding the teachings of Christ, and ultimately to a vibrant faith. We see ourselves as a true family, caring about each other, loving, and being one under Christ Jesus our Lord.

We hope your faith will be strengthened as you encounter teaching from God’s Word. However, the truths you hear are not meant to stop with you. You are encouraged to teach them to others as you meet one-on-one with friends and colleagues or as you gather in small groups. Woodend Community Church is passionate about making disciples.

We urge you to consider the role God may have for you as you share the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ with those in your own community and to unreached people in NZ.

Where

A church like no other, we gather together every Sunday at 10am in the Youth Centre at 38 Rangiora Woodend Rd. Join us for a great time sharing, learning from God's Word and spending a great time together.
